I wanted to let you know what we will have available special for Father’s Day. After all of your suggestions here here’s what I’ve come up with.
We will have our giant pretzels and beer, cheese or pimento cheese
Apple pies and cherry pies 5 inch size
Savory hand pies, which you’ll find in the deli I’m going to make shepherds pie and chicken pot pie
And we’re also going to make a giant sub that we’re calling the Godfather. We got in some special meats, a rosemary ham, sandwich pepperoni, and capicola all from Italy and we’re gonna make a heck of a sub.
Some of this will be available tomorrow/Friday all of it will be available Saturday and some Sunday. We’re also serving crêpes on Sunday. I’ll share that menu tomorrow. If I get anything done tonight, I’ll take some pics and show them, but I just wanted to let you know.
Tell me if you think you’re coming here and what you’re looking for, it’ll give me a good gauge on what to try to have ready. Sorry I can’t do custom orders. We just don’t have time.

Some stuff and some things.
I have so many things coming up. I’m gonna share them all right here and then as they happen I’ll share them again.

1. Hand dipped Guernsey ice cream is coming back. Will be making cones again and serving ice cream again. Look for that back by the deli. Next week.
2. We are getting a new oven for sandwiches and reheating all of our baked goods. Will be able to make your Panini sandwich in one minute now instead of five this is going to get people in and out so much faster and I think you’re gonna love it. Next week.
3. We are going to make crêpes this Sunday, Father’s Day. I know a few that are father favorites, including the strawberry crème brûlée. I’ll make some with roast beef as well.
4. We will take a summer break this year. Will be closed July 4 and reopen on July 18.
5. I am 90% done with The Gathering Place one more big table to redo and I think I’m gonna be done the end of this week.
6. Having the gathering place will give me space to offer a few baking classes. This is something people have wanted for a long time. I just didn’t have the space but I do now and I promise I’m gonna do it.
7. I’m also going to host bakery bingo in the new gathering place. I think we’re gonna have room to see about 30 people and we’ll make it a coffee and dessert kind of event and we’ll give away some baked goods and it’ll be fun because I’ll have Keith!. He’s a great time. He doesn’t know about this yet, but it’s OK. He’ll ll find out.😆🤣😆

OK, I will post about all of these things in detail on separate post, but I think you’re all caught up with all the things in my head right now.

Mother’s Day is easy. Father’s Day, not so easy. What do you guys want for your dad’s? Please tell me. Anyways, we’re open Sunday 12-4pm. Come and see us.

You should come and grab yourself one of our homemade smores today. We made the graham cookies and homemade vanilla bean marshmallows, covered them in real Belgian chocolate and they are just perfect! We’re open today from nine until five. We have all your other favorites bakes ready for you as well. Come and see us.

Thanksgiving Week and our rolls are 2 for $6 Twosday. And it’s a beautiful day and we’re open until 7 pm. 🩵🍪🩵

Life is Sweet

Coming soon. MORE SEATING.
We are flip flopping The Pantry and the cafe seating. We’ll keep all of your favorite things about The Pantry. Just gonna put them where we currently have cafe seating. All seating will move to The Pantry side. This will double our seating space and allow me to bring back in our large farmhouse tables so that we can handle large groups again.
When we opened, we had lots of seating. Then Covid happened, and I turned half of the seating into The Pantry. I love the pantry. And you guys do too. So I’ve figured out how to put all that stuff on the bakery side and make lots of seating on the pantry side. I’m very excited about this project. I wish I could start it today lol it’s gonna take a little bit of time. It’s also gonna be a little bit messy in there for a couple months, but, will be open as usual.
