From the iconic red jacket and gold details to the fedora, sparkling glove, and classic MJ silhouettes, this cake was all about celebrating the King of Pop. ✨❤️🖤

✨💕When the baker’s own kid turns 13, you know the theme has to be extra fun. 💕✨

13 YEARS LATER… and somehow my girl is officially a teenager! 😭💗 We celebrated with a neon black-light glow party, complete with flamingos, shades, beach balls, palm trees and ALL the bright colors. 🌴🦩🕶️✨

The cookies were definitely made to GLOW under the black lights, and the cake carried the “13 Years Later…” theme — even though apparently I was too busy being Mom, baker, decorator and party planner to remember to take an actual good picture of it. 😂🤦‍♀️ So this is the cake photo we’re working with!

Making cakes and cookies for everyone else is special, but getting to create them for my own kid’s 13th birthday hits just a little differently. 💕 Happy 13th, Chloe! Welcome to the teenage years! 🎉
