What a great day supporting the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing at Maple Leaf Golf Course!

With nearly 200 golfers in attendance, it was an incredible day filled with networking, relationship building, and connecting with so many great people who make our community stronger.

To top it all off, our team had an absolute blast—and somehow managed to bring home the win! 🏆⛳

Today we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone—10 years with Downtown Restaurant Investments!

Over the last decade, Dani has worked at every one of our properties, leaving a positive impact everywhere she’s gone. From bartending and management to training and helping wherever needed, she has always stepped up and done whatever it takes to help our teams succeed.

Dani embodies what DRI is all about—hard work, professionalism, teamwork, and genuine hospitality. She consistently goes above and beyond for our guests, her coworkers, and our company. She’s one of the best trainers in the business, an incredibly fast and talented bartender, and brings an energy and personality that makes everyone around her better.

Whether she’s behind the bar, training a new team member, leading a shift, or lending a hand wherever needed, Dani does it with excellence and a smile.

At Downtown Restaurant Investments, we believe great hospitality starts with great leadership.

Today, we were proud to invest in our team by sending three of our managers to ZingTrain Leadership Training, where they spent the day learning valuable skills in leadership, communication, team building, customer service, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Continuous learning and professional development are core values at DRI. By providing opportunities like this, we’re equipping our leaders with the tools and knowledge needed to better serve our guests, support their teams, and continue raising the bar across all of our restaurants.

We’re excited to see these lessons put into action and grateful to have leaders who are committed to growing both personally and professionally.

🏛️ Today, members of the Downtown Restaurant Investments team had the privilege of joining the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association at the Michigan Capitol to advocate for the hospitality industry that supports so many jobs, businesses, and communities across our state.

We spent the day meeting with legislators and discussing important initiatives that will help strengthen Michigan’s restaurant and tourism industries, including:

🍽️ Increased funding for culinary and hospitality education and workforce development programs

🌲 Continued investment in Pure Michigan tourism marketing efforts

📈 Supporting policies that help restaurants, hotels, and small businesses grow and succeed

Our industry is more than just food and drinks—it’s careers, local economies, community gathering places, and opportunities for future generations.

We are proud to represent our team members, guests, and fellow hospitality professionals while helping ensure a strong future for Michigan’s hospitality industry.

Today we hosted a ServSafe Alcohol class for team members across DRI who were not yet certified!

At Downtown Restaurant Investments, alcohol safety is one of our top priorities. We believe in creating a safe, responsible, and professional environment for both our guests and our staff, and continuing education is a huge part of that commitment.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the training today and continue investing in their knowledge and growth. We are proud to have a team that takes hospitality and safety seriously every single day.
