HAVE YOU TRIED THE BIRRIA BALLS at Flautas Juarez in Midland?
Crispy on the outside. Slow-cooked birria on the inside. Cheese pull if you order them right. Dip them in that consomé and try not to order a second round.
Midland, this is the move.

Midland has a downtown crunch worth the drive. Flautas Juarez at 417 S Main St brings Ciudad Juárez flavor straight to the Basin: hand-rolled flautas, golden and made to order, in more than a dozen styles. Go traditional with shredded beef, rice, beans, and salad. Drown them ahogadas in tomato consomé. Or order birria flautas, flautas verdes, rancheras, or the Estilo La Pila plate. Pair it with tacos al pastor, carne asada, or a cold agua fresca and call it dinner. Dine in, takeout, or order online. Come hungry. Leave with the border on your plate.
