Celebrating 75+ years in business and 40+ years of ownership for John and Vera! 🎊 💜🏈✨ SERVING THE MID-MIAMI VALLEY SINCE 1949
The tradition of Central Pastry Shop began over seventy years ago. Today it continues creating and baking the Mid Miami Valley's favorite pastries. Known for distinctive cakes, from wedding to birthday and specialty cakes, Central Pastry also provides the finest in baked goods made from scratch, including: cakes, breads, danish pastries, éclairs, coffee cakes, doughnuts, rolls, buns, pies, cookies and much more. Central Pastry Shop has a long history of making customers happy. Founded in 1949 in Middletown, Ohio, the full line retail bakery soon developed a reputation for quality, taste and service. The wide eyed children who stared excitedly at the cases of sweet pastries, have grown up. They now bring their own children and grandchildren to share in the traditions and memories of Central Pastry Shop. Vera and John Slamka purchased Central Pastry Shop in 1984 and have operated the bakery for the past 40 years. It remains a full line from scratch bakery using the same recipes that have long given Central Pastry Shop its unique flavors and tastes. The beautifully decorated wedding cake is ready. The bread has that wonderful look and smell of home baked. And the delicious doughnuts are there, waiting to provide, along with a cup of coffee, a burst of morning energy. Let Central Pastry Shop provide the perfect baked goods for your gatherings. Pastries made from scratch right here in our shop. And a variety of breads and rolls to satisfy every taste. Light angel food and chiffon cakes as well as all the classic decorated cakes, breads, pastries, cookies and danish goods our clients expect. See our "products" page for a partial listing.
