Lucas Carroll was an officer of Fraternal Order of Eagles club 681 in Middletown, CT, and passed away after a long battle with prostate cancer on February 23, 2026.

Lucas faced cancer like he faced life. Humbly, with a smile on his face and with an inappropriate joke at the ready. For those who didn’t know, they truly didn’t know.

He was a several year member of one of our dart teams and loved playing each week here and traveling to the area bars.

Lucas was a proud Army veteran and in his professional life, he earned several master’s degrees. He really valued education as the key to a better life.

Join us Friday, May 15th for the Lucas Carroll memorial dart tournament to fund a scholarship in his name. Registration begins at 7:00 PM and darts fly at 7:30 PM. Teams will be luck of the draw. There will be lots of raffles and a door prize. Come join us!

This Saturday @ the Middletown,CT Eagles Club 681 is our dart tournament for Joanne Weisenburger. Big raffle table and Rummy's Jerky will also be there! He has amazing homemade jerky in many flavors. Next Saturday is our Setback Tournament & Bake Sale. Please call 860-346-9576 after 2pm if you'd like to sign up to play or to donate a baked good. These events will lead up to a celebration of life for JoJo on August 15th (more information to follow). Hope to see you at an event!!
