🏝️ We are on an undiscovered island tricky to access where travel to reach us can be a lot of work; but once you’re here… for the most part, life is “paradise”.

Taking advantage of our Caribbean-style resort in the middle of Lake Erie is easy 🤸🏻🗺️
Our pool, bars and restaurant are open to the public every day we are open for business 🏝️
The live entertainment is free 🆓
We even allow guests to sleep on the porch and in our pool chairs when the islands are packed to capacity ⛱️
You do have to figure out how to access MBI
🚤⛵️⛴️✈️
One note, when you’re here take cue from this gent enjoying our endless “free” amenities who just purchased a fresh round at the bar: you are expected and required to buy food and beverage from us, our bar, our restaurant and the famed canteen.
The more orders you give our service staff linked to life in the Caribbean, the better.
We grow our own mint leaves on property and can muddle up a true Mojito with clear rum 🍹
Live like an islander, soak up the sun and let our bartenders know how much you appreciate being here 📍

Happy Birthday to Sir Oliver Hazard Perry born August 23, 1785 into the Perry Naval family dynasty.
Service to America on the waters began at a young age. At age thirteen, in 1798, he served in the Quasi War in the West Indies in France.
He also served in the Caribbean fighting piracy and slavery.
Here in Ohio, Perry is most noted for the War of 1812 and the Battle of Lake Erie and is called the “Hero of Lake Erie”.
He led nine battles on Lake Erie against the British, a turning point for the West, which gave America control of the waters.
During this time he famously flew a battle flag which read, “Don’t Give Up the Ship,” displayed all along the Coastal Ohio Trail and Lake Erie today.
Happy Birthday to Oliver, a recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal of honor and for which our establishment is named.
