You may wonder…why doesn’t the cafe answer the phone on Sundays? Well, around 9:30am we get super busy and we want to make sure we can serve those that are in the cafe (and those waiting for a table!)
We would love to be able to serve everyone but we have a little kitchen with two amazing cooks!! (Boy, Brett and David work hard!!!)
If someone knows how to magically expand our kitchen, let us know!

🚨Bigfoot season starts today🚨

From May 23 through July 19, we’re running TWO‼️ways to play along and support local businesses:

☑️The Bigfoot Scavenger Hunt
Find little Bigfoots hiding at participating businesses, scan the QR code on their tags, and check in. First person to find them all wins the grand prize. If nobody finds them all, the person with the most check-ins wins.

☑️The Bigfoot Receipt Raffle
Upload any receipt from a participating business dated May 23 through July 19, and you’ll be entered to win a $100 Local Love Card from Visit Tuolumne County. Upload those receipts here:

This year, we’ve heard Bigfoot has been spotted in businesses from Soulsbyville from Strawberry (and beyond). And, because we’re not awful people and we know gas is expensive right now, we will tell you that all the little Squatchies are in businesses EAST of Soulsbyville Road. All 41 of them can be spotted in Soulsbyville, Mono Vista/Longeway, Twain Harte, Sugar Pine, Mi-Wuk Village, Cold Springs, Pinecrest, and Strawberry.

You can participate in either contest or both. No complicated rules. No secret handshake. Just find Bigfoot, shop local, save those receipts, and .

Our Bigfoot Scavenger Hunt 👣👀 is kicking off this Saturday at participating businesses all up and down Highway 108, from Soulsbyville to Strawberry, and beyond.

We thought we’d mix it up a little this summer. In parallel to the scavenger hunt, we’re running a Bigfoot Receipt Raffle.

It’s simple: while you’re out there hunting down Mini Squatches, make a purchase at any business participating in the Scavenger Hunt, upload your receipt using the QR code for the Raffle at the business, and you’ll be entered to win a $100 Tuolumne County Love Local card. The Receipt Raffle will run alongside the Scavenger Hunt from May 23rd to July 19th.

Come see if you can spot Bigfoot at the cafe!

After the success of our Elf-on-the-Shelf Scavenger Hunt last Christmas, we've decided to start a new summer tradition — a Bigfoot Scavenger Hunt.🫈

Same rules Elfie played by:

✅Spot little Bigfoot in participating businesses
✅Scan the QR code
✅Complete the check-in form to let us know you’ve spotted the big guy.

Easy peasy. *BUT* this time, there’s a twist — Bigfoot can be spotted in businesses from Soulsbyville to Strawberry (and beyond).

The hunt kicks off Memorial Day weekend (Saturday, May 23) and will run through the Sierra Bigfoot Music Festival (Sunday, July 19).

The first person to find all the Bigfoots, Bigfeet?, will be our grand prize winner. If no one has found all of them by the end of the contest, then the winner will be the person who has the most check-ins.

And, just like at Christmas, the business that has the most check-ins at the end of the contest will get a little something special from the Chamber.

Speaking of businesses, if you’ve got a business in our service area and would like to participate in the scavenger hunt, drop us an email at info-at-embracethelocal-dot-com and we’ll bring you a Bigfoot and get you all set up. You don’t even have to be a member. The deadline to let us know you’d like to play along is Thursday, May 21.
