So sorry to say we have closed Brick City Buffet and Grill our lease is up and with the high cost of food, high cost of labor, the lack of employees, high cost of taxes and the maintenance needed to the building we have decided to close this location permanently. We will be excepting any left over gift cards at our Vandalia store, Great Plains Kitchen located at 1811 business 54 in Vandalia, Mo and also will be taking them at Saints Avenue Cafe located at 1703 Oak Street in Canton, Mo.
Scott, Brick City’s main cook will be moving to the Great Plains Kitchen as a Kitchen Manager
And will be joining Tim to make that buffet amazing with all the great recipes from both stores.
Special shout out to Rusty, Ronda and Ashlea Burry for the amazing people you are. You made things happen when it seemed impossible during covid and the crazy changes that have occurred. Ronda and Rusty and Ashlea will be spending much needed quality time with their families. Ronda and Ashlea loved each customer and their needs so much so Sunday was a hard day for them both. We love you Ronda and Ashlea for the amazing work you have done.
We welcome everyone to come and check out Great Plains Kitchen they always have a buffet and they serve menu items there also. Scott will bring the flavors of Brick City Buffet to Great Plains Kitchen. It is with a heavy heart we will say farewell to a much loved face at Brick City. As many of you know Ashlea has been working tirelessly on getting her Master's of Science in Clinical Counseling which she compleated in May of this year.

Ashlea will continue to brighren peoples lives as she transitions to working full time as a mental health therapist at Marriage and Family Counseling Center in Columbia Missouri. We wish Ashlea the very best and she will be greatly missed. Someday in the near future we will be introducing her as Dr!

Be sure to stop in Wed-Fri, and Sun this week to see Ashlea during her last full official week at Brick City. We may continue to see her pop in from time to time as her schedule allows. Be sure to follow her on FB if you want to keep in touch!

We have an amazing buffet out today and tonight.
Fried Chicken
Catfish
Clam Strips
Meatloaf
Taco bar
Ham
Along with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, macaroni and cheese, okra,
peas and Steamed cabbage
Tonight we will be adding barbecue ribs, smothered pork chops and grilled shrimp.

We are hiring servers. Great servers who truly love customers. we are hiring servers for some day shift hours and nights and weekends. Shifts are usually pretty short so this can be a second job that can be very worth your time if you are a great server.
