Hi all my Facebook followers, friends, and family. If you haven't stop by Derry Homegrown Farm & Artisan Market today is your last opportunity! Today from 3pm to 630pm. Last farmers market of the season. So sad to see it come to a close but happy for all the wonderful friends and customers I made during the season there. Truly blessed. Hi all my followers, friends, and family. I'm finally home from the Emerson Hospital!!!

This was my view today. If you drove by this was how I was relaxing.
After one long week which was supposed to be a maximum two day at most stay for a gallbladder removal. There were pneumonia complications and more pain than most due to the gallbladder size due to infection and inflammation. My abdomen was opened more than most for the removal due to my prior Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery and still dealing with extreme pain, soreness, and exhaustion. So that being said I couldn't stay at the hospital much longer. Need to recuperate at home. And that's just what I did today. After a summer of not relaxing much on my patio I made up for it today and actually fell asleep out there enjoying the warm sunshine. The best medicine. Still dealing with no appetite and lost over 10 pounds in one week. (Don't judge the pencil stick legs) as my hospital roommate called them. Lol

Still not feeling the best but getting there very slowly. Thank you for all that continue to call, text, visit, send Facebook messages, cards, gifts, and write me. I really appreciate it. You all are super loved. Hope to be cooking soon and doing events. My business makes me happy and that's what it's all about,,,being healthy and happy. Love you all. Love, kerry 😊❤️

Obligatory hospital gallbladder removal surgery picture. Oh look I'm holding a gallbladder doll. Check out his expression. Kinda like mine when it had to be removed. Day 4 of eviction. Extremely sore. No appetite. Need a walker to get around to take some of the pressure off of my abdomen. Thank you for all that wrote, texted, and called. You are all super sweet. Love, kerry 😊❤️

Hi Facebook followers, friends, and family. Today was eviction day for Mr. Gallbladder. It went very smoothly despite the major infection and inflammation I had over 5 weeks ago. It was a longer operation than most that have gallbladder issues. While I was busy cooking, he was busy cooking up 100 gallstones. He was very busy. I'm resting comfortably at the hospital now. Not sure how long I will be staying over. Now I need a long vacation. Thank you to everyone that has been asking for me. I really appreciate it. Love, kerry 😊❤️

As I reflect back on the past this will be 4 yrs of participating in the Feast Of The Three Saints Festival Saints Alfio, Filadelfo and Cirino Society with my business Kerry's Katering. I think back of all the wonderful customers and fellow food vendors that have become close friends.
Of all I have learned along the way with little or no help just navigating along with my love of cooking and serving the public awesome healthy and creative dishes I have cooked up. Of all the help my parents have given me especially. Love, support, and financial assistance. I couldn't have started this business without their help everyday. So a huge thank you and I love you dad and mom go out to them. On this day I will remember to enjoy every moment. Thank every customer. And be proud of everything I have accomplished starting with just a single thought back in 2021. I love my business everyday. When it's tough. When it's disappointing. But most importantly when customers return for seconds or thirds. Life is about making YOURSELF HAPPY. So go be you. Make yourself happy. Do things that make yourself happy. And above all else inspire others to do the same. Just that one single thought got me where I am today. Commercial kitchen. Too many food permits to count. And fellow vendors I have learned so much from. Life is about navigating along the way and I have done that with Kerry's Katering. Through the thick and thin. Through the Spinach and Feta. Through the Farmers Markets Derry Homegrown Farm & Artisan Market and Peters' Farm. I have made it my own. And I'm damn proud. So 🎉 CHEERS 🎉 TO more yrs of Spinach Pies. Armenian Favorites and much more creative eats from my kitchen to yours. And this weekend I shall be Italian in mind but Armenian in ❤️. I love you all. Don't forget I'm at Derry Homegrown Farm & Artisan Market today and every Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm (until gallbladder surgery) and the Three Saints Festival Saints Alfio, Filadelfo and Cirino Society all this weekend. Friday September 4th from 6pm to 11pm. Saturday September 5th from 11am to 11pm. Sunday from noon to 11pm. Lots of fun. Nice weather. Great live bands. Games. Parades. Fireworks. And awesome food and desserts from Kerry's Katering. You don't want to miss this. Bring your friends and family. See you at The Feast. Don't forget to stop by and say hi.
