The Martindale House

The Martindale House will be closed until further notice. The first floor got through the flood with no damage but the basement suffered flooding to the bottom of the floor joists. This was our saw shop for restoration. The detached garage got several inches of water on the wood floor. Our house down the street was also flooded on the basement level which was living space and the tin shop and frame shop in the barn were flooded four feet above the floor. We still hope to be open in some form for Canal Days.

School is starting and to us that makes it feel like fall and time for some German fair. Come and enjoy brats and pork schnitzel while supplies last.

🤠It’s Wild West Day at the Martindale House this Saturday! The Whitewater Valley Railroad will be bringing in the 🚂Wild West Train this weekend. It’s a short walk down to the Martindale House. Family friendly. Come on down for some good food in an original, historic 19th century building.
