It has been 7 weeks since the flood hit Metamora and my shops.

I'm happy to say that we are OPEN AGAIN at The Village Smith shop and The Village Smith Coffee Bar!

Today, Saturday and Sunday is our annual Canal Days. It is our biggest weekend of the year and we'd love to see everyone come out for the fun.

I'd like to send out a big "Thank You" to my staff, their families and their friends... and my friends for volunteering their time and resources to help me get back on my feet. I am very grateful!

After nearly a month of cleaning, disinfecting, and throwing away damaged product and equipment after our flood, the Village Smith Coffee Bar will re-open for business this weekend. Stop by on Saturday or Sunday and visit us as Metamora celebrates our annual Music Festival!

Check out these photos of the progress we made from the moment the Whitewater River filled our Coffee Bar to now. A huge "thank you" to the many friends who donated time and supplies on our road to recovery!

Our shop next door, The Village Smith, still has some work ahead, but we are happy to have the Coffee Bar back in business!

While I take a little break in Alabama tomorrow, my amazing Metamora team will have both of my shops ready for you!

Summer, Mackenzie, Jordan and Amanda will be running things with excellence at the Village Smith and our Coffee Bar until 9:00pm. Metamora's Evening Stroll is Saturday and it's a great time for everyone!
