Meet Elvis.

Loves to sleep, enjoys soccer, and is the sound guy at church
And even though heā€™s still in high school, he somehow has three jobs because that dream truck isnā€™t going to pay for itself

Elvis is very hardworking and always wants to learn something new, and we love that about him. Heā€™s always willing to help, always paying attention, and always ready to grow.

Weā€™re grateful for him and excited for yā€™all to meet him.

Itā€™s Thursday and weā€™re officially 9 days away from our Grand Opening šŸšŸ’›

Today we want you to meet Jahir, one of our baristas at Leche y Miel CafĆ©.His favorite drink is the Banana Bread Latte, and heā€™s also been such a big help with our content and socials. Honestly, having someone willing to jump in and help us capture this season has meant a lot.

Heā€™s the owner of Jahir GuzmĆ”n , and fun fact, he was going to be a teacher before realizing photography was really his passion.

Weā€™re so thankful for Jahir and everything he brings to our little coffee shop in Mesquite, TX. Come say hi soon and try his favorite drink.

As we count down, we wanted to introduce some of the people who help make Leche y Miel what it is. We genuinely couldnā€™t do this without them.

Meet Naomi.

Favorite drink: Dirty Horchata
Dislikes: super sweet things
Aspiration: to be the best nurse and love Jesus
Fun fact: she can play the violin

Naomi has honestly been keeping us sane during soft opening. She learned so quickly, jumps in wherever we need her, and still makes everything with care. Whether itā€™s coffee, matcha, or a refresher, she pays attention to the little details and serves it with care.

Weā€™re so thankful sheā€™s part of Leche y Miel.

Sweet, smooth, and roasted just past medium for a little more warmth, body, so you might notice a slightly darker color but trust us itā€™s good (and itā€™ll give a nice color to your coffee for a good photo šŸ˜…), Notes of honey, orange peel, milk chocolate, red berry, and sweet spice.

Did you know that as coffee roasts, the chaff begins to fall away. In a similar way, God has been processing, refining, and shaping us (and maybe you as well) through this season.

And by His grace, the process has brought us here.

Our Grand Opening is June 17th, and we canā€™t wait to welcome you in.
