Ely's Pierogi Festive Foods is a mobile food truck service that operates in Northwest Indiana. We specialize in making excellent homemade pierogi and sausage.

Festive Foods specializes in Eastern European cuisine and are known for producing some of the very best homemade pierogi in the Chicago/ Northwest Indiana area. We make our pierogies from scratch using all natural ingredients. Our customers are rediscovering the difference between the pierogis from their childhood and the mass produced offerings you find in the big grocery chains today. We invite you to come and discover that difference as well!

***COURTESY ANNOUNCEMENT***

In order to facilitate and expedite debris cleanup and power restoration the Town of Chesterton and The Duneland Chamber of Commerce have jointly decided to scale down The Chesterton European Market for this Saturday and possibly future Saturdays. The market will only be held in the Chamber parking lot where only specialty food and produce and bakery vendors will be allowed to sell. Please note that food trucks and booths selling ready to eat foods will not be there.

If you're planning to come out and support these vendors please make sure to park only where allowed to keep the roads clear for the work crews in the area.

Stay safe and enjoy this weeks "Special Edition" mkt and bring your cravings for pretzels and pierogi next week ... hopefully.

Tha administrators of the Chesterton European Market have decided to NOT host a mkt tomorrow, Sat Aug 15th in the interest of public safety. Many businesses and residents in the Town of Chesterton are still without power and other life necessities. as well as many vendors tending to their own issues caused by the storm. Please stay safe and we look fwd to seeing you soon. Additionally, Ely's Pierogi will not be at the Aug 22nd mkt as we're on vacation that weekend.

WHY WAIT IN LINE ELBOW TO ELBOW FOR 45+ MINUTES IN WHITING THIS SATURDAY?

We have your premium pierogi right here at the Chesterton European Mkt, Open Saturday from 8am to 2pm.

We're debuting our new Beef and Roasted Pepper pierogi (filling pictured below) as well as:

Potato Cheddar
Potato Ruske (potatoes, farmers cheese & chived)
Sweet Cheese

Many of you know us as the "Chicken Chorizo" pierogi vendor (especially on Friday night) at Pierogi Fest. Though we are currently sold out we will make a new batch for the mkt on Aug 8th for you diehards willing to brave a trip to beautiful Chesterton Indiana. We know its inconvenient but after careful consideration last year we decided to not return to the fest. We did (and do still) appreciate your support over the many years.

Good morning to all!

Ely's Pierogi is celebrating a family event today and will not be participating in the Chesterton European Market. Sorry for any inconvenience but we will back at the market on June 6th! Have a great weekend!

Good day to all our friends! Just a courtesy note to let you know 2 things:

-1) We customarily participate in the Shipshewanna On The Road craft show which is occuring this weekend at the Porter County Expo Center. Due to a busy schedule dealing with health and other life issues we weren't able to prepare in time for this weekend's show. Sorry for any inconvenience but we have good news:

2) We will be hosting an Easter Pierogi and Sausage Sale on Friday, April 3rd. Further details to come..
