Tomorrow is and we’d love to be on your radar.

Doughnate Pizza is a volunteer run 501c3 with a mission to end hunger in our communities. We travel far to help residents facing the aftermath of a natural or manmade disaster all while keeping our local partner shelters fed. Shelters like Lincoln Park Community Services and  Deborah’s place- just to name a few.

We have fed close to 18,000 meals in the past few years and we’d love your support to take us to the next level.

If you make a doughnation to us, 100% of the money will be used to feed the folks facing food insecurities. We are a smaller organization, so any support at all really helps us out.

Yesterday we were able to get out to Hope Manor II in Chicago. Hope Manor and Hope Manor II are apartments and housing units for veterans and their families. We showed up with a skilled crew of volunteers and fed over 100 people in just two hours.

We shared stories and smiles and laughs with one another as we broke bread. Pizza is a fun meal- it’s fun to make, fun to eat, and a good pie will put a smile on any face.

Thank you for having us and thank you to all of our volunteers who work selflessly to help the communities around them.

Special shout out to M&M Car Care Center - Merrillville who helped make the day possible not only by getting our vehicle repaired in time to get out there but they also generously donated a portion of the cost for the food.

We’ve had such a great time teaching pizza classes lately that we are going to open them up to the public to fundraise for our nonprofit- Doughnate Pizza. We are a fully volunteer run 501c3 that is doing good with dough. We feed multiple homeless shelters on a weekly basis as well as our work on the road feeding free hot meals following a manmade or natural disaster.

We are going to start hosting some garage pizza classes! Price is $50 per person. This includes a two hour class with pizza, salad, and soft drinks. You will learn the process from start to finish into making a pizza, get to make one to eat- and one to take home with you. I will also be making some pies for folks to taste.

All proceeds will go back to the costs associated with feeding those who need a hot meal. I’ve been struggling finding funding for the nonprofit and thought that this could be a good way to get out and have fun while raising funds at the same time.
