I'm Suzy, I enjoy baking as a hobby. It has always been my dream to start a bakery or a coffee shop, but I think to start a new business I must put my effort into creating a great product. I am very passionate about making macarons not just for the look but for a delicious taste as well. I like creating unique flavors from locally harvested ingredients, like raspberries, blackberries and black current. I've been trying to learn how to make a good macaron for over 2 years now. I have posted my macrons on my Instagram, I have failed many times as this is a fickle cookie to make. I work in a clean home and hand hygiene is my priority. I had a food-safe certification in high school. I am a registered nurse and have taken microbiology, I know the importance of preventing cross-contamination. I buy most of my ingredients at Costco. I make everything from scratch from the buttercreams to the fillings. The macaron fillings that I enjoy making are buttercream and ganache with a flavor filling inside typically. Right now I am making a flavor depending on my mood or special request.
