If you know me….you know I LOVE Supporting other women especially my baker friends.

OMG has been closed since CHRISTmas as you all know and one of the things my child has craved during her pregnancy has been King Cake. With us gone almost 6 weeks, I’ve been unable to make her favorite Chantilly King Cake. So we have ordered several different ones and tried many.

Well…… y’all…… this King Cake Flight we got from Kristi Goodin Voss (Sweet Addiction) is hands down the best local King Cakes we have ever had. I am very picky about King Cakes I think it’s better than mine if I’m being completely honest. So Good!!!

Friends, I wanted to share a quick update with you all.

I had previously announced that OMG would reopen on Monday, January 26th, but after the passing of my sweet father-in-law and with continued travel out of state, our family has truly not had the space to pause, breathe, and grieve. It has been nonstop, and this season has required more from us than we anticipated.

On top of that, our grandbaby due in March has decided to keep us on our toes, and we are praying daily that he can stay right where he is, growing strong and healthy for as long as possible. That has required our hearts and attention as well.

With all of this in mind, OMG will remain closed a little longer while we seek a sense of normalcy and peace and while we continue to trust God with our family and our growing grandson.

I am so thankful for your prayers, patience, and grace. Your support means more to me than I can put into words….not just for this small business, but for me as a person.

I’ll be sure to share updates as we move forward. I can’t wait to be back in the kitchen serving you all again when the time is right.

Friends, I wanted to share a quick update with you all.

I had previously announced that OMG would reopen on Monday, January 12th, but due to the passing of my sweet father-in-law this week, I will be extending our closure.

🗓 I will tentatively return to The OMG Kitchen Monday, January 26th.

This time is needed for our family to grieve, gather, and honor a life that meant so much to us. I am so incredibly thankful for the prayers, love, patience, and support you have always shown me, not just as a small business, but as family.

Thank you for giving me grace during this season. I can’t wait to be back in the kitchen serving you all again very soon.

As the year draws to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for making this year truly amazing once again! Your support, love, and trust in our home bakery continues to mean the world to us. 🙏❤️

With The New Year approaching, we're taking a brief break to spend cherished moments with our families and recharge for the exciting year ahead.

Please note that our ovens will be taking a little rest during this time, and we'll be closed for orders until Monday, January 12, 2026. Don't worry, we'll be back with even more delicious treats and creations!
