Some experiences change the way you see your work. This was one of them.

In May, Justin had the privilege of traveling to El Salvador as an invited judge for the Cup of Excellence. The organization brings together a small, carefully chosen group of national and international coffee professionals to cup through all the lots round by round, narrowing the field each time, until only the finest rise to the top.

To be selected is an honor. To sit at that table, surrounded by passionate judges from across the globe, cupping coffee grown with extraordinary care, it’s humbling in the best way.

El Salvador’s farms are breathtaking. The people are warm. And the coffee? It speaks for itself.

This trip is a reflection of something we carry into every roast, every cupping session, every cup we share. A commitment to never stop learning. To stay curious. To keep showing up for the craft.

To the Cup of Excellence organization, thank you for welcoming Justin into this community. To the fellow judges who are now friends, we’re grateful for you. 🤍

our friend Sebastian Ramirez is known for his magic in processing, and this Peach Co-Ferment is no exception. This coffee is co-fermented with wine yeast + dehydrated peach for that creamy, sweet, peach pie energy we can’t stop thinking about.
