Owner, Gerardo Olvera, purchased Cinema Café right after selling his 366 seated restaurant Butterfield’s located in Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, and relocated to Merced, CA to live with his wife. Cinema Café quickly became a spot favorite among the locals, college students, and tourists heading to and from Yosemite, looking for breakfast and lunch.
