A little letter from my heart-

We are currently searching for the right Kitchen Manager to join our team at Café 1505 and honestly, this feels like much more than just a candidate search to me.

This role is rare because this place is so special.

For over 35 years, Café 1505 has been part of this community, and for so many of us (staff & guests alike), it is a family. Small business can be incredibly beautiful… but also incredibly heavy sometimes. Behind every plate of food served is a real team of people doing their absolute best to keep something meaningful alive!

The last few months have reminded me just how important the right people are. Not just someone who can cook or run a kitchen, but someone who truly cares. Someone steady, balanced, loyal. Someone who takes pride in what they create, leads with consistency and kindness, and wants to be part of something beautiful.

We are not looking for “just an employee”. We are looking for someone who wants to plant roots somewhere special. Who wants to help lead a busy kitchen while being surrounded by a team that genuinely cares about each other and has a lot of fun doing it!

And in return, we want that person to feel supported. Appreciated. Trusted. Valued. We know how much a strong kitchen leader matters, and we also know how important it is that THEY feel taken care of too.

We are incredibly lucky to already have an amazing staff and unbelievably loyal customers who continue to support us through every season. Now we’re simply hoping to find the right person to step into this next chapter alongside this incredible crew.
