We are incredibly honored to have been voted Best Family Restaurant in The News-Herald’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards!

To our amazing community: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support, loyalty, and friendship have allowed TJ’s to proudly serve Lake County for the past 35 years. Whether you’ve been dining with us since the very beginning or recently became part of the TJ’s family, every visit, recommendation, kind review, and vote has meant more to us than you know.

This recognition is especially meaningful to me because TJ’s is so much more than a restaurant—it is my family’s legacy. My parents poured decades of hard work, sacrifice, and love into building TJ’s into the restaurant it is today. I have seen firsthand how much they have given to this business and to the community, and I could not be more proud or grateful for the opportunity to carry forward everything they created.

As I continue our family’s restaurant, I promise to honor the foundation my parents built while continuing to serve the Lake County community that has supported us throughout this incredible journey.

From the Pulling family and our entire TJ’s team, thank you for welcoming us into your celebrations, traditions, and everyday moments for the past 35 years. We would not be here without you, and we are truly grateful to be your choice for Best Family Restaurant in Lake County! ❤️

Everyone say good luck to our beloved Grace as she heads off to Johnson And Wales University down in Charolette, NC for their Culinary Arts program! Grace has been with us for the past 4 years, and to say she’s a rockstar would be an understatement. Her incredible work ethic and contagious ambition will be missed dearly amongst the staff. Good luck, Grace (AKA: Smelly) I know you’ll do amazing things!🥹🫶🏼

Abby is officially 86’d! We had the pleasure of working with Abby for the past few years, but now she’s taking her next step in her nursing career. In my professional career, I have never met someone with a heart as big as Abby’s. To say her kindness is intoxicating would be an understatement. The healthcare field is beyond lucky to have such a caring and driven young lady. All of us here at TJ’s find comfort knowing Abby will be taking care of our community’s loved ones. Your TJ’s family wishes you nothing but the best of luck, Abby!♥️

An amazing turnout in spite of the weather conditions. Almost 600 runners participated in this year’s Friday Night Lights 5k. A Super Mario theme was a super fun time had by all!! Super Mario and all of his friends made it the perfect vibe.
