Pop’s Custard has been my home for last 26 years. It feels very surreal to wake up every day and not have to think about what the next flavor is going to be or how many buns we are going to need for that day. I grew up there and met the most important people in my life while working there.
And the big reason that I loved Pop’s so much was the
customers. You guys are the best and I know I have said it before but honestly you have all become my little
family. There are so many of you that I know your favorite flavor or exactly how much hot fudge you like on your sundae. I feel like I have been through it all with you guys. When I decided to become the owner of Pop’s everyone was so gracious and really made it an easy transition. I am not sure how to put into words how to thank you all for these last few weeks. I feel awful because there were a lot of you that I didn’t even get to have our last little chat or make your last kids scoop because we were so BUSY. The few of you that I got to hug goodbye through the tears (thanks for ignoring them) or read your amazing emails\letters really touched my heart.
Now I know that big question is about the sale of Pop’s Custard. I know you are all very curious about it but I promise you I will update you as soon as we have some information. Pop’s Custard is very much still for sale and we are now finally looking at buyers. Thank you to everyone that has reached out with
