I found a recipe for a vegan tahini chocolate chip cookie. Then I found these giant organic chocolate chips from a cool company in Washington state, so I figured I’d try it out, and yummmmm…. The only question is flaked sea salt or no salt?!? I say yes to the salt! Curious what yall think! 👩‍🍳we will be having these on the rotation again and hope to hear your thoughts!! 💖

We are back open tomorrow regular hours—7:30-2!

Come by and try our Mediterranean salad, it’s back on the menu for spring and summer. This vibrant salad has house made pickled beet & onions, cucumber, cherry tomato, feta, Kalamata olives, and marinated garbanzo beans all on a bed of local Big Mesa Farm & Nye Ranch mixed lettuce grown just a short drive away from us 🤗

We will be closed Monday and Tuesday 6/8&9 because the street in front of our cafe will be getting dug up to replace sewer pipes. It will make a lot of noise and we figure it’s best not to try to navigate being open for business in this situation. We’ll be open again Wednesday at 7:30 to serve up fresh pastries, breakfast, coffee, and all the GoodLife classics.

Until then, enjoy these beautiful salads we prepared for a wedding event, and if you have any specials event catering needs coming up, keep us in mind! Love yall and see you soon 😘

Peanut butter bars are back! These bars have an oat peanut butter cookie bottom, a peanut butter layer, a chocolate layer, and chocolate curls on top. With the oats and peanut butter to hold you over, these make a great afternoon sweet treat. Plus they’re gluten free 🤗

Getting some more pot pies ready for ya! Lotsa folks have been asking when our shop next door will open… the answer is we’re getting closer but still working on it and not gonna open until we feel ready. But also soooon!! Meanwhile, we are stocking the small grab and go freezer with as many pot pies and soups and bakery stuff, trying to keep it full of deliciousness, and testing new recipes on you as well. If there are particular entrees or offerings you’d like to see in our upcoming grab and go frozen dinner selection, please drop them here!! We want to know what our community is craving! 💖👩‍🍳 🍲

We gave our staff the choice of whether to open today considering the May Day strike, and they chose to stay open. We encourage everyone in our community to direct any essential spending toward local small businesses and use cash when possible. Economic disruption makes our message hard to ignore.
