If you saw me at church today smelling like hickory smoke, there's a reason for that!
People think when the restaurant sign says "Closed," we're put up with our feet kicked back. Real talk: we're often still in the kitchen! Countless "days off" and late nights are spent working behind the scenes catering weddings, family reunions, funerals, graduation open houses, and birthdays. Today was no exception—worked the smoker before the service, rushed to church, and went right back to prepping meat for a birthday party after.
Did you know we cater, too? (And yes, the smoky fragrance comes free of charge!)

We’re Taking a Well-Deserved Break!
Our business will be closed from Friday, September 4th through Tuesday, September 8th so our team can enjoy an extended Labor Day weekend. We will reopen with normal hours on Wednesday, September 9th.
Our staff has worked tirelessly all summer long—putting in long hours, taking on overtime, and giving their best every single day. Now, it’s time for them to rest and enjoy some quality downtime with their families before the school year kicks into high gear.
We are so grateful for their hard work, and equally grateful to all of you for your continued support and understanding. We hope you all have a safe, relaxing Labor Day weekend!
