Elvis loved Southern food — and that’s why he loved coming to The Arcade, it was a place where he could enjoy the comfort food he grew up on — and it’s why you’ll still find his favorite booth here today 🎤

We had the honor of hosting .hasankhan and — passionate cinema lovers and Elvis enthusiasts — who enjoyed our incredible vintage books with photos from his tour in Germany during his Army service 🇺🇸 — and others capturing his iconic moments shining on stage ✨

From Memphis to Grafenwöhr, his legacy lives on — and it’s moments like these that remind us how deep the roots of Elvis run right here on South Main.

Greek immigrant and U.S. Army veteran Speros Zepatos opened The Arcade Restaurant in 1919 with hope, courage, and a dream. 107 years later, that dream still lives on at the corner of South Main.

For many years, the Arcade stayed open 24 hours — a place of comfort, day and night. But when the third generation of the Zepatos family took the reins, Harry Zepatos made a quiet shift: to open 7 AM to 3 PM, so he could spend evenings with his family. Today, that same tradition continues — the Arcade is now proudly run by the fourth generation, Harry’s sons, Jeffrey and Michael Zepatos.

It almost feels like yesterday…But here we are, more than 100 years later☀️, still serving Memphis with love, flavor, and a whole lot of history. ✨

Originally founded by a Greek immigrant family 🇬🇷, the Arcade was built as a place for gathering — that’s where the name comes from. The idea was simple: a welcoming corner filled with shops, people, and good food. And while the cars outside may have changed 🚘, our roots and mission haven’t.
