Every morning thirty minutes before unlocking the door we brew drip coffeeā weigh the beans, grind, place the filter, and start the brewer. The aroma of fresh coffee and baking pastries fill the shop. And while the cafe is quite pleasant when quiet and the new sun shining through the windows, itās after 7a most days that the magic or art happens. Neighbors funnel in on their way to work, meet with a friend, debrief after a meeting, or celebrate their kid starting school. As baristas and bakers, we have the honor to witness the daily lives of our neighbors and participate in the routine, mundane, or sometimes wild days simply with a cup of coffee, pastry, and seat at a table. It is so beautiful to see this living artwork be so dynamic as neighbors from across town and even the world walk in and out of our āframeā. Yes, we love good latte art in a mug or a colorful danish. But our favorite is the diversity of the people who walk into the shop and we get to host.
Cheers to our friends at Havner's Frame Shop passing this frame around town to showcase art in all its forms, traditional and non traditional. Follow to see more!
