Being a business owner has taught me that one of the hardest things is watching some customers go straight to social media before ever giving the business a chance to address the situation.

I understand that customers have every right to express how they feel, and I also understand that mistakes can happen. But communication matters. Sometimes all it takes is asking for a manager, speaking with the owner, or simply giving the business an opportunity to make things right.

Behind every business is a real person, a family, employees, bills, sacrifice, long hours, and a reputation that took years to build. One post can reach thousands of people before the owner even knows there was a problem.

As a business owner, I’m always willing to listen, correct an issue, and learn from it. I just wish more people would communicate with businesses directly before taking the situation to social media.

Accountability should go both ways. Businesses should take care of their customers, and customers should give businesses a fair opportunity to resolve a problem.

At Exploding Flavors, we’re not perfect, but we care, we listen, and we will always do our best to make things right. ❤️🙏🏽
