First in the “Am I Tripping?” In October 2026 series,

Paul Young’s last 2 Re-Election Fundraisers have been outside of Memphis that we know of.

Both places and those who hosted them are Pro-Data Centers, Pro Overpolicing and Pro Corporations.

Anybody who has to go outside our City to elitist donors
..(I’ll let you finish that thought)

He’s not worried about losing next year. And neither are the City Council members.

We just watched Elon Musty buy the Presidential elections, y’all think he can’t afford our Mayor? Our City/ County officials?

Or the next ones we vote in?

The reason so many of you are scared and afraid of even imagining a different system, is because you’re waiting and hoping for your chance in it.

The world is but a stage
..

And City Council just won an Oscar off yesterday’s meeting. (Even more scary when you realize how many of them don’t even know they’ve been scripted in. They really think they are writing it.)

This is why I don’t hear yall when yall say words like respect, professionalism and rules. 😂😂😂

They are just weapons wielded against the oppressed.

Quick Personal Example: During City Council meeting yesterday, I respectfully asked a very legitimate clarifying question that every one in the room was wondering. Outside the allotted audience time to speak.

In literally 5 secs I was surrounded by officers from every direction and immediately told to leave the room and building with insinuations of bodily harm and arrest if I did not do it fast enough. I didn’t even finish getting the question out. That’s how fast I had officers surrounding me. Even attempted to put they hands on me until I told them that’s a very bad idea.

Once I had made it in the hall out side, City Council sent word to let me back in. You could literally see the disappointment in the officers eyes as I went back in.

About 20-30 mins later, a City Councilwoman starts going stupid on audience members, outside her allotted time to speak. Yelling, screaming, hollering across the chamber and guess what the officers do?

Go form a wall to protect her.

We both committed the same “disrespect”. Was unprofessional in the same way. Broke the same rule. In the same space. Yet

When you try to “professional” your way to freedom, you leave so many of us in cages.
