I thought I would take the opportunity to address a customer question that I had earlier. The question “ is the bread your actual product?” and I knew exactly what they were asking. So I told her yes it is my actual product but what I do edit the background. I change the lighting, brighten it, and if there are shadows I don’t like I remove the shadows.
I have a background in photography and editing because at one point in my life I honestly thought I’d be a famous photographer lol clearly that did not happen but that has helped me out here. These two photos are a perfect example of that, what you see product wise is always the product I make.
Now in these two photos, you can see the original photo with the shadowing, but I’ve changed the color of that white cardboard backing. Sometimes I use the white because I do want to add a color to the background, sometimes you guys will see it sitting on my counter, the one with the little candle warmer, some ghosts are currently in the scenery, and some sourdough starters usually hanging out there too. It depends on what vibe I am going for.
I do use AI, but after my vision has been created in Canva, and mostly for my edible cake toppers, a flyer and occasionally a 3d printer file that I can’t manipulate as far as I want. I have no issue with AI, it has its place, just not with my baked goods.
