❤️ UPDATE: Sometimes this community reminds us why we keep going.

After our post about the stools that were stolen from The Walsh, we received an incredible amount of support, kind words, and offers to help.

Then something happened that reminded us why we love this community so much.

A gentleman named Ron reached out and told us he had the same style of stools sitting in his shed collecting dust and he wanted us to have them.

A special thank you to Ron for your incredibly kind and generous donation. ❤️ You didn’t have to do that, but your thoughtfulness means more to us than you could ever know.

After something so disappointing, a simple act of kindness like that can really restore your faith in people.

It’s easy to focus on the person who did something wrong. But today, we’d rather focus on the person who saw a neighbor having a bad day and decided to make it a little better.

That’s the Medina we know and love. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who commented, shared, reached out, and cared. Running a small business isn’t always easy, and some days are certainly harder than others. But moments like this remind us that there are still far more good people in this world than bad ones.

We’ll keep giving back. We’ll keep investing in our community. And we’ll keep moving forward, because this community is worth it.

💔 We’ve spent the last several years giving back every dollar of profit we could to this community… and this weekend, someone stole from us again.

We hate even having to make a post like this.

This weekend, after we had closed, several of the old wooden stools from the front porch of The Walsh were stolen.

They may just look like a few old stools to someone else, but to us, things like this are part of the character and history we’ve worked so hard to preserve here.

For the past several years under our current ownership, we have donated our profits back into this community; supporting local organizations, events, fundraisers, families, and projects because we genuinely believe in Medina and want to see it succeed.

That’s what makes something like this hurt even more.

We’ll admit it: doing business hasn’t been easy. Costs keep going up, every day seems to bring another challenge, and when you’re already working hard just to keep moving forward, something seemingly small like this can really take the wind out of your sails.

We love this community. We’re proud to be here. We’ve tried hard to give back to it every chance we get.

So we’re asking whoever took them to please do the right thing and bring them back. No questions asked. Just put them back on the porch.

And if anyone saw anything or knows where they ended up, please reach out to us.

We’ve always tried to be there for our community. Right now, we could really use our community being there for us. ❤️

We’re just sleeping in a little. 😂

The Walsh opens at 5 PM tomorrow only!

Yeah, it’s a little later than usual… but the wait is worth it. 🍻

And don’t worry — once we open, we’re still keeping the party going until 10 PM. 😏

The Walsh is home to authentic pieces of local sports history, including the original Bills Mobile stadium sign from the original Buffalo Bills stadium, plus other unique memorabilia — all right here in Medina.

And our history goes back even further… Babe Ruth himself came to Medina in 1920! ⚾
