We are thrilled to announce that we will be open today during our normal Sunday hours, from 12-8pm, and we have two incredible specials that are available until they sell out. We are offering a shipwreck dish with bacon or sausage and cheese, and our mouth-watering pork chop special with golden mushroom gravy and fried potatoes with onions. Next week marks the beginning of our normal menu and our first full week of operation. Today, we still have a variety of delicious options available, including our smash burger, chicken sandwich, chicken fingers, bacon chicken ranch sandwich, wings, dill pickle cheese balls, and steak sandwich, all of which come with a side of your choice, including fries, onion straw, coleslaw. If you are looking for a small town with a big heart and amazing people, then you have found your spot. We are grateful to have made it through our first week of training and soft opening week, and we can not wait to see what the future holds.

Guess who is our first person to come up and show the town some love?! Bryan Hugh is back June 18 friends for some good ol’ karaoke. We are doing it early since we know you all have to work the next day 6-9pm.  I do hope I hear some Galloway voices. You want fun things to do in Mechanicsville? I’m gonna make this happen .  This week is our first full week of service coming up, we have been at work today working hard to fix what is broken and work on getting better for you. We have picked some items that will be on our menu daily with how well you have enjoyed them.
Steak sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwiches breaded or grilled , Bacon, chicken ranch sandwiches breaded or grilled.  Wing baskets. Chicken finger baskets. All sandwiches come with a side.
For apps, you all loved those dill pickle cheese balls, and the onion straws. We are adding some corn nuggets this week to see how well those will go over, and some egg rolls.
We will have a hand breaded in-house tenderloin every Thursday for a tenderloin sandwich or a hot tenderloin with mashed potatoes and gravy. These are just some of the great items we have seen that needs to be a part of Charley Rae’s on the permanent basis. We are all here to stay so we want to make sure we do this right for you and give you what you like.

Thank you for everyone that came out and supported us last night, today we are working hard to work out the kinks that came up yesterday and will be ready and open back up tomorrow at noon. Next week is our first real week of delivery trucks and hours. Thank you for the ones who have supported us during this week of training and learning what sells, and what we need to fix. Have the best Saturday friends, I know the party didn’t stop last night till late so I hope everyone had fun. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think we served a fourth of Mechanicsville tonight, you guys all came in full force.  we don’t want to mess this up or give you a less quality food, or bad service and not make this an experience you enjoy. We have decided to close tomorrow to regroup and restock, because we are out of everything. We had some last minute equipment difficulties and need to repair that also. If this is anything like the summer’s gonna be I can’t wait and we will be more prepared next time for sure. I want to do this slow and properly we will be back open Sunday at noon with shipwrecks as our special. Next week is our full week and we will only get better.  Thank you for everyone that dined with us last night a.k.a. today and showed. We’re incredibly appreciative and will only grow here in Mechanicsville
