As children, we celebrated the love our parents gave us. As adults, we understand what it took for them to keep choosing each other—through the joy, struggle, ordinary days, & everything life placed in between. 50 years is not simply a measure of time. It is a lifetime built together.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news…
