Oh Denali, we love you. It’s been a wild ride. And we had fun. It was an absolute joy to taste Laura’s food again and share that with you all. This was over a decade in the dreaming. Years ago, standing in the 229 kitchen, we would always joke about the ideal situation: operate in a world supported (at a time when we were both stretched so thin), where she ran the kitchen and I ran the front, and bring together the community under one roof. 😁 I would tell her that I could handle all the operations with the people and she could work her creative genius behind the scenes. And we could both do what we love. And we did. It was exciting. And a lot of work. So that’s a wrap for this series. And we are going to take a break to take better care of our families and to have more fun for a while.
