McKeesport Area School Board approved a budget totaling $92.3 million and authorized Draw Collective to proceed on a high school construction project that may cost the district upward of $80 million.

Adopt a Block on Walnut Street!

With more signing up every day, Mayor Maglicco invites businesses along the Walnut Street corridor to join Smitty’s Place, Booker T. Washington Elks, Christy Park Cones, and TKO Gyros in McKeesport’s Day of Caring on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 10 AM!

Organizers are hoping to clean from Tube City Center (the former Daily News building) to McDonald’s in Olympia Shopping Center. We need additional businesses, organizations, and groups interested in giving back to the community, showing pride in McKeesport, and helping to make a lasting impact!
