𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐩.

These girls from a tiny town no one had ever heard, came and conquered!

Coming from a population smaller than anyone they faced, they showed up and showed out.

We went to the World Series as the Alabama State Runner Ups.

We came home as the World Series Runner Ups defeating the team that beat us at the state tournament.

Our girls had never used a pitching machine. It was called the blue flame, I called it the Blue DEVIL. But they got in the swing of things and started to dominate!

When bracket play started, they were on fire! Several teams who beat us in pool play, we beat in bracket in play when it MATTERED!!

We beat the #2 seed, #3 seed, & #4 seed in our three bracket games to get us to the championship game! AS the UNDER DOG in all 3 bracket games!

Lutz beat us 16-6 in pool play. We beat them 13-10 in bracket play when it mattered.

New Site beat us twice at state with walk off homeruns. Then beat us 8-3 in pool play the World Series. We beat them 23-14 in bracket play to send one of us to the championship game of the World Series!

They had no quit! They just got fired up more and more!!

We lost the championship game to a very good Kentucky team. And we’re ahead until the 5th inning.

7 days of 11 games IN A ROW. Plus ceremony day, plus practice day, plus travel day, and more! These girls were gone for 10 days from home and NEVER QUIT!!

They made history for a small town in the middle of nowhere.

They will always remember this experience and have their special Babe Ruth 75th Anniversary World Series Runner Up metals to bring home….

But they will really never forget..

The teammates that were so special, Australian teams giving them kangaroo keychains, trading jerseys with Puerto Rico, sinking and falling out of a kayak in the creek, the 30 point deer in a high fence at Coach Seth’s house, Coach Dakota almost having to go to the hospital 2-3 times from injuries (from the girls), how dirty our Airbnb was🤣, swimming in the creek and lake, a bowling and pizza party thanks to the Summer Fam, Coach Laken coaching from a ladder Mr. David bought her because she got kicked out of the dugout, all their new softball friends, hearing of a whole community at home following their journey, Coach Chesley getting 2nd place in the homerun derby, not being able to get hollered at by their coaches because every coach lost their voice, and sooo sooo much more.

A Heartfelt Thank You from River Landing Coffee Co.

We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all the hardworking men and women at Outokumpu who have supported our River Landing Coffee & Food Truck over the past three weeks.

It has truly been a pleasure seeing so many of our familiar faces from River Landing Coffee Co., while also having the opportunity to meet and serve so many new ones. Every order, conversation, kind word, and show of support has meant so much to our growing business.

We are incredibly grateful to Outokumpu for the opportunity to serve your hardworking team and for welcoming River Landing with such tremendous support.

As we wrap up these past few weeks, we’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to our next adventure with the River Landing Food Truck. We are thankful for every opportunity that allows us to grow, reach new people, and serve the communities and industries around us.

Most importantly, we give God all the glory for the doors He continues to open and the blessings He has poured over River Landing. We pray that He continues to guide our steps as our business grows and new opportunities come our way.

A simple place where anyone in our community can take what they need and give what they can—nonperishable food, hygiene items, and other everyday necessities.
