Due to the severe weather expected across Georgia this weekend, the inaugural Sweet Auburn Barbecue McDonough BBQ & Bluegrass Festival scheduled for Saturday, October 10, has been canceled.

With heavy rain, strong winds, flash flooding and the potential for tornadoes in the forecast, we cannot safely move forward with an outdoor festival. We are incredibly disappointed, but the safety of our guests, participating restaurants, performers, vendors and team must come first.

Ticket holders will receive additional information directly. We will also continue to share updates here and at sweetauburnbbq.com.

Thank you to everyone who planned to join us and to Terminus City Barbecue, Dhaba BBQ, NO Sauce Smokehouse, Dusty Roads, Jason “JT” Thompson and all of the vendors and partners who helped bring this festival together.
