Hey guys it's La. I need yall to stop and do me a favor. Lett is cooking in the J-H Cattle company steak competition today. If you are in joplin stop by and show support. If not cheer her on with social media. She got herself set up in the pouring rain and so far it looks like she is the only female cookin. I know my badass twin can show these men with food trucks that a Rockstar mama cooking with love can produce an amazing steak!

Wanna see the dynamic duo in action? Welp… we have a treat for ya! Meet us in Cherokee at the legion on March 12th 5-9pm. Starlett Lovett will be cooking ribeyes and tips and Starla Lovett Porter will be your waitress!!!!! We don’t get to do this often, some come on over and make it a night we won’t forget! Pre orders are suggested otherwise is will be a first come first serve ordeal. Bring cash only. Drinks can be purchased through the legion. Don’t forget to bring some money for the jukebox and your bartender/waitress! See y’all soon!!!!

It has been 10 years as of New Year’s eve night since I opened. I keep stewing over all this for the last couple of days. I miss all of you so very much and can’t thank you enough for your patronage throughout the years I was open and following me where I’ve went since then. There were a lot of good times there and I miss it daily. You people really changed my life! I love you all so very much!

So..... Starla and I are missing everyone so terribly bad. Would anyone even be remotely interested if we did a Double L Saloon reunion at my house or something & had a band? Just wanting to reminisce on the good ole days!!!! Maybe an early fall bonfire, band, and Lett grilling some food kind of night???? Let me know who would be interested!!!!!

So.... Starlett Brisbin and I will be working together again friday night to help our friends out with their grand opening of Bender on 7. (Sundowners in girard) It has been nearly 4 years since we have bartended together. Hope everyone comes out to see us, have a great party, and support our friends in their new adventure.
