Update: I have several irons in the fire for a new location. To those of you who provided suggestions I can't thank you enough. As a special announcement, I will be firing up the smoker Friday night. Come on down Saturday for beer and BBQ at Pop A Top on the East side of town!

I have been slow to announce this because I have been trying to find another venue. Unfortunately Jim Bob's will be permanently closed at this location. I am in the market for a new location or food truck/trailer if anyone knows of any opportunities available there. Thank you to all of my loyal customers.

Alright. I think I pretty much have next weekends menu planned out. Some things I have planned won't change but throw me some wild cards by commenting below for a chance to win a free meal. I love a challenge!
Note: I have some special treats planned for next weekend, new additions that are sure to please. One is a special main dish, the other is a premium side, both explode with flavor!

New fridge is almost done. Got an old but serviceable full size fridge gifted to me. Thank you to Tawnya Cates and family. Had to spruce her up a bit but man is it going to make my work easier.

Extended hours for Country Harvest. 11 a.m-7 p.m. No 4 hour break since I'm doing all renewable meats.

I'll be doing things a little different for the Country Harvest. Hours will be extended and the menu will be 3 meats that stay constant for both Friday and Saturday. I think it is best to do things that can be renewed throughout the day rather than having something that will run out.

Weekend menu for event:

Giant smoked turkey legs, smokehouse burgers or brat boats with smoked bacon wrapped pickles as the premium side. There will be peach ackumpuckee for dessert.

As always Voodoo beans and slaw for the standard sides.
