Always wanted to learn Mah Jongg? Now's your chance! Join us at the Maynard Fine Arts Theatre Creamery for a beginner-friendly intro to American Mah Jongg. Over two sessions, you'll learn the basics, meet new people, and get to play with some guidance along the way.

Classes are Thursday, Oct 1 and Oct 8 from 6 to 8 PM here at 17 Summer St in Maynard. It's $120 for both sessions, and there are only 12 spots. Since space is limited, please register only if you're sure you can make both sessions.

This is an intro class focused on beginners. If you already know how to play, we plan on holding more sessions over the next few months, including open play!

Would you be interested in learning how to play Mah Jongg at the Creamery? Let us know!

We've been exploring new ways to get involved in the local community, and one idea we're considering is to host Mah Jongg classes led by a local instructor. Bring along a friend or make new ones while learning the game.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, like this post or send us a DM. Once we know how our community feels, we'll follow up with pricing, dates, and details on how to reserve a spot!

Today's sundae contest brought some seriously creative specials to the counter. Members of the TILL, Inc. community came up with the sundaes, and our Creamery staff brought them to life. The lineup was judged by members of the local community, along with the founder of TILL and owner of Fine Arts Theatre Place, Dafna Krouk-Gordon.

Thank you to our community judges for lending their expertise. They rated each dish on taste, creativity, and appearance, which wasn't an easy task! Every sundae brought its own unique twist. Keep an eye out around Maynard, each judge went home with one of our "Official Ice Cream Connoisseur" bumper stickers.

Stay tuned for more events like this in the future!
