👀 And as for which beef door opens next…
stay tuned. We’ve got some 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 in the works!

We definitely want to sell 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 beef, feed 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 families and reach 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 people! We just want that growth to come 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 — from people like you, who 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 us, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 how we raise our cattle and 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 the product we put our name on.

We’re focused on growing the right way, which isn’t always the fastest way.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁.
That’s what matters to us.

And to everyone who has trusted us, supported us, purchased from us and told someone else about us along the way — 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨. 🖤

We’re just getting started!

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁!! 👏

But we're not quite there yet…

We still have a 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 left, about 𝟭𝟱 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁 & close to 𝟱𝟬𝗹𝗯𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 looking for a freezer to call home!

Help us finish clearing out before the move!

📣 𝗪𝗘'𝗥𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚... 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗘'𝗥𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘!

With the upcoming changes at High Steaks Bar & Grill, we wanted to clear up any confusion and make sure everyone knows…

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴!

While our current location will close September 26th, we’ll still be selling the same locally raised beef while we work on getting our new 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 up and running.

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 September 26th:

🥩 Our beef will be available at 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗲'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 (fun fact: we’ve always had a meat cooler here!)
🚗 We’ll be offering 𝗶𝗻-𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀 (PM us for more info or to get on our list)
📲 And you can always reach out to us directly to place an order

𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗦 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴?

Besides a new location, you may start noticing a little 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 around here as we work to better align the meat shop with our farm, 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀. Same family, same farm — just bringing everything together a little better. 🖤

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗦𝗡'𝗧 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴?
The beef. 🥩
Still raised locally.
Still raised by us.
Still the same quality you've come to love.

We have some exciting things in the works and can't wait to bring you with for the next chapter of our meat shop!

Be sure to follow along! 👀

🌱𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗦-𝗙𝗘𝗗 vs. 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡-𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 🌾— 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦?

There’s a common misconception that cattle are either raised on grass or raised on grain. Around here, it’s not one or the other - but 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩.

🌱 Our cattle are 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥. During grazing season, they’re out on pasture doing exactly what cattle do best. During the winter months, they remain outside on pasture and we 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘢𝘺.

When it comes time to finish our steers, they're offered a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘁 of pasture, hay AND grain — meaning they have access to all three.

🌾 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻?
Because we like what it does for the end product: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 and 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿 our customers have come to expect.

Could we call our beef strictly grass-fed? Nope.

But we're proud to tell you exactly how they’re raised.

And we think 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 matters a whole lot more than a trendy label! 🖤

🥩 𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗙.

When your name is attached to a product, quality matters a little differently.

We raise it. We feed it to our own family. And we’re proud to sell that same beef to yours. So if you ever purchase something from us and 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲, 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 - 𝘄𝗲'𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!

No complicated corporate policies. No 1-800 numbers. Just a real farm family standing behind a product we’re incredibly proud of!

Not every meat shop does that - and good luck finding the farmer behind the package at a big-box store. But to us, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲! 🖤

09/14/2026

📍 When we say 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭, we actually mean 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟.

Our beef doesn’t travel halfway across the country before it reaches your freezer. 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗡𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗡𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺.

It starts right here — on our farm just outside of Mauston.

We’re the people raising the cattle, checking fences, putting up feed and doing the work behind the scenes every day. We’re also the same people handing that beef to families in our community. 🖤

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

That’s what 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 means to us!

📚 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗙 𝟭𝟬𝟭:

Ever wonder what the 𝟴𝟬/𝟮𝟬, 𝟴𝟱/𝟭𝟱 or 𝟵𝟬/𝟭𝟬 ratio on ground beef actually means? 🤔

It’s simply the 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝘁 — and that little difference can change how your ground beef cooks!

Our ground beef is 𝟴𝟱/𝟭𝟱, which we think is the 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁! Enough fat for 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿 and 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, without being overly greasy — and still 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 to use for tacos, casseroles, meatballs, pasta and pretty much 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 you’re cooking.

Basically… one package that can do 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🙌

🍔 What do you use ground beef for most at your house?

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗶𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

🚗 When buying 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳, how far would you be willing to drive to pick it up?

💚 Less than 5 miles - 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯
💛 5–10 miles - 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦
🩵 10–20 miles - 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦
🖤 20+ miles — 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘧

We have some 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 in the works for the future of our meat shop, but before we commit, we'd love to hear from those that matter most…. 𝗬𝗢𝗨!!
