There are moments in this journey that remind me exactly why we started.

Today, I had the privilege of visiting with a guest who first dined with us about a year and a half ago. They told me they had a good experience then, but today… everything was exceptional. The food. The service. The entire experience.

Hearing those words never gets old.

Our team works incredibly hard every single day with one goal in mind: to create an experience that leaves you wanting to come back. Not just because the food was good, but because you felt genuinely cared for while you were here.

The truth is, we’re human. Sometimes we miss the mark. We make mistakes, and we’ll never pretend otherwise.

But if that happens, all we ask is for the opportunity to make it right.

Today, I had the opportunity to visit with two tables who were dining at Pinchers for the very first time.

After five years, you would think those conversations would become routine.

They never do.

I still find myself asking where they're from, how they found us, what they ordered, and what they thought. Then comes my favorite part—that moment when you see their face light up and they tell you they'll be back... or they say, "I can't believe we've never been here before."

It's hard to explain what that feels like.

When we started this journey, it was never just about opening a restaurant or serving seafood. It was about creating a place where people feel genuinely welcomed. A place where strangers leave feeling like family. A place where birthdays are celebrated, anniversaries are remembered, friendships are made, and memories are created around a table.

Every first-time guest reminds me of that dream.

There are days as a business owner when the numbers, the stress, and the responsibility can become overwhelming. But then I have a conversation like the two I had today, and I'm reminded that what we're building is so much bigger than a restaurant.

We're creating experiences that become memories.
