To all of our customers – that is to all of our family and friends
Twenty years ago, my dad decided to embark on a journey and bring 21 year old Miki, my sister Edina and the rest of the family to the USA. We left all the family and friends behind and came to a country without a trace of a plan or family member. That was a hard and heart - felt experience.
What I did not know at that time was that in these twenty something years in the USA, I have gained more family and friends than I could ever imagine.
This restaurant was an accomplishment that I would never forget in my life.
After 10 incredible years, the time has come for us to say goodbye.
From the very beginning, you welcomed us into your lives, filled our tables, and turned this restaurant into something far more meaningful than we ever imagined. What started as simple dream became a place of laughter, celebrations, late-night conversations, and unforgettable memories- ALL BECAUSE OF YOU. I felt Matthews was alive around there and I knew the entire community, you all are my friend and family for so many years even before this restaurant.
I and my family are deeply grateful for every visit, every kind word, and every moment you chose to spend with us. Your support carried us through the years and made this journey truly special.
While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories we’ve shared will stay with us forever.
It has been an honor to serve you and be part of this incredible community!
