I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who took time out of their day to wish me a happy birthday! 🥰🎂

I was truly overwhelmed by all the birthday wishes, sweet messages, and incredibly kind words. I read your comments, and I can’t begin to tell you how special each and every one of you made me feel. ❤️

Owning a restaurant is about so much more than serving good food. It’s about the friendships, the familiar faces, the conversations, and the wonderful people you meet along the way. So many of you have become more than customers to me, and I’m truly grateful for that.

Thank you for being a part of my life, for supporting Awnie’s, and for making my 59th birthday so special. Your kindness means more to me than you know!

She’s the Awnie behind Awnie’s Italian Cuisine and the chef behind so many of the delicious Italian dishes that have been served from our kitchen over the years.

Awnie pours so much of herself into this restaurant — from the recipes and meals she prepares to the familiar faces she loves seeing walk through the door. What started with her love of cooking has become a place where families gather, friends meet for dinner, and our community continues to show us so much love and support.

Today, it’s her turn to feel a little extra love!

As we head into our Sunday and Monday break, we just want to take a moment to say how truly grateful we are.

We had such a wonderful week and weekend at Awnie’s, and it’s all because of the support from our community. Every time you stop in for lunch, bring your family for dinner, place a carryout order, share one of our posts, or tell a friend about us, you’re supporting our little family-owned restaurant—and that means more to us than we can put into words.

We know you have many choices when deciding where to eat, so we never take it for granted when you choose Awnie’s. Your support helps our family keep doing what we love, and we’re so thankful to be part of this community.

Thank you, Martinsville, for continuing to show up for us, encourage us, and make Awnie’s feel like home. We appreciate you more than you know!
