Hey Martinsburg!!! We pray you are all doing well!! We promised updates about the grandkids and we have one!!

Carrington is the oldest and the one you've probably seen working. She would work the register and always loved helping her mama.

She is a new member to South Middle Schools national award winning show choir South Spirit!! She's in the middle of a fundraiser and we wanted to reach out to you.

Below you'll find a few ways to help us!!! I'll attach pictures as well! We would be so thankful if you would!

1. How about getting a 4 person team together?? 18 holes, cart, food, raffles, goody bags and more!!! $320 per team with a portion of this going into her student acct.

2. Are you a business and would like the opportunity to support and get advertisement at the same time? We have several different levels available! $100 to $750! Carrington is available in the afternoons to stop by your business and ask personally. A sizeable portion of this will go into her acct.

3. Private donations are accepted of any amount!!! She will retain 100% and will go directly into her acct.

4. If none of these are up your alley....can you please share with your family and friends?

That's a wrap guys!!! We're so appreciative of all the comments, cards, flowers, special one last time visitors, phone numbers exchanged, hugs, catch me on Facebook, etc! We love you all!!!

This page will still stay active!! I think of all the comments made recently, the most was "I'm going to miss the kids!" So....we may just post a few pics now and then of them and what they're up to.

It is with great sadness in my heart to announce that we will be permanently closing our doors this Saturday, June 20th, 2020.

Towers has been a Martinsburg treasure since the late 40s with only having a handful of proprieters since opening. From mini golf to frozen custard to the banquet room, our famous hot roast beef sandwich, stewed tomatoes or liver and onions.....everyone knew Towers! To some of you, this was your first job. Or maybe you ate corn fritters with your grandma. Or you had a meal delivered because you worked overtime at Capital Cement. Whatever the memory is, we know it's a good one.

If I'm being honest, I didn't want this to happen until the business sold. Due to Covid 19 and other extenuating circumstances, we were just not able to bounce back like we had hoped. This business has been in my family for 30 years. It has been where wedding receptions have been held, funeral dinners served, birthday parties given, baby showers thrown and so many more memories made for those around me. If you've ever visited, you probably have even come across one of my grandchildren (the oldest can now run the register!).

I want to thank each and every one of you for the last 15.5 years that I have personally owned Towers. The laughs that have echoed in between these walls and the relationships made (some of you I consider family) will forever be engrained in our hearts. You truly, truly have no idea how much you mean to me.

I ask that no negative remarks be made as I am already having a hard time processing the hard decision that had to be made. Prayers are needed for me and my family.

Again, thank you Martinsburg for an amazing ride!!! I pray the next owners find just as much joy as you have given me.
