One of our favorite things about Scoops? The view. 🤍

If you’re lucky, while you’re enjoying your ice cream you’ll catch a sunset over the fields and a view of Mr. Petrucci’s cows. Sometimes they’re grazing, sometimes they’re cooling off in the pond, and sometimes they’re just soaking up the evening right alongside us.

🤍 A Quick Scoops Update 🤍

First, we want to say how incredibly sorry we are.

Unfortunately, Scoops will be closed today and tomorrow because we have completely run out of ice cream. We ordered additional stock, increased our inventory, and did everything we could to try to get an earlier delivery, but unfortunately it wasn't possible.

While we know this isn't the update anyone wanted to hear, we are beyond grateful for the support our community has shown us. The turnout these past few weeks has exceeded anything we could have imagined, and while running out is certainly not ideal, it is a problem we're thankful to have.

The good news is that while our windows may be closed, we won't be sitting still. Today and tomorrow we'll be working hard to fully restock and make changes to help prevent this from happening again in the future. We're also taking the opportunity to tackle some improvements around Scoops, including reinforcing our playground set to make sure it stays safe for all the kids who love it, finally getting our dumpster installed, and taking care of some much-needed maintenance projects around the shop.

We know many of you have made Scoops part of your summer routine, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and your understanding. We can't wait to reopen with freezers full of ice cream and be back serving all of you very soon.

Wow... you all have truly kept us busy! 🤍

We wanted to give everyone a quick flavor update for today. We placed another stock order this week thinking we'd be prepared, but thanks to all of your support, so many flavors have sold out already! While we're incredibly sorry to anyone who stopped by and couldn't get their favorite flavor, we're also so grateful because this is truly a wonderful problem to have.

A special thank you to a friend who helped us out by lending us some additional stock to help get us through the week. We've included those flavors in today's updated list as well!

We know it's disappointing when your favorite flavor isn't available, and we sincerely apologize to everyone we've had to disappoint. We are scheduled to be fully restocked on Thursday and are hoping we have enough inventory to carry us through Wednesday. If anything changes, we'll be sure to let everyone know as soon as possible.

To help prevent this from happening in the future, we've already purchased two additional freezers so we can keep more backup inventory on hand. We never anticipated the incredible turnout we've seen, but we're learning, adapting, and doing everything we can to make sure your favorite flavors are waiting for you when you stop by.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness, and support during these first few weeks. We never expected this kind of response, and we're so thankful for every single person who has stopped by Scoops.🍦🤍

Graduation night at Scoops 💙🎓

What a special evening! We had the opportunity to take photos with several graduates and celebrate such an exciting milestone alongside them and their families. Seeing everyone stop by in their caps and gowns, sharing smiles, taking pictures, and making memories made the night one we'll never forget.

One of our favorite parts of the evening was seeing the chalk drawings left behind throughout the night. From "No More School!" to sweet doodles and congratulatory messages, it was such a fun reminder of the excitement and joy that filled the air.

These are the moments we dreamed about when opening Scoops, not just serving ice cream, but creating a place where our community can gather, celebrate life's milestones, and make memories together.

Congratulations to all of the Hedgesville High School graduates! We are so proud of you and grateful that we got to be a small part of your special day. 🎓✨🍦

Stop by after the ceremony, grab a sweet treat, and take some pictures at our navy & gold balloon arch! ✨

As a special congratulations from us, any graduate who comes in wearing their cap & gown will receive a FREE dessert of their choice! 🍦
