Going back to the doctor could have been one of the hardest days, but I chose to make it one of the best. Not because everything is okay, but because I know nothing is in my control and God has everything under His.
Today I went back to the doctor for X-rays and MRIs on both of my knees. Even in the middle of appointments and uncertainty, I still got to deliver some caramel apples.
As I was walking through the hospital, I had a moment that made me see his faithfulness. After my surgery in November, I brought caramel apples to some of my nurses just because I wanted to bless them. I never imagined that surgery would open the door for me to keep coming back not just as a patient, but as the caramel apple girl, sharing a small piece of my heart with the people who cared for me.
It reminded me that God has a way of redeeming what we never would have chosen. What the enemy meant for evil, God is using for good. My story isn’t just about surgeries or caramel apples it’s about a faithful God who continues to create purpose, even in the middle of pain.
I’m still trusting Him with what’s ahead.
