Official Statement from Huey’s Coffee
We sincerely apologize for the recent situation involving the use of the Huey’s Coffee name in a private group chat that included inappropriate comments and conversations. The values of our company are rooted in respect, kindness, professionalism, and treating others with dignity, and the behavior displayed in that chat does not reflect who we are as an organization.
While members of top leadership were not included in or aware of the conversation, we take this matter very seriously. All individuals involved have been addressed directly, and appropriate disciplinary action has been taken. Apologies have been made to the individual who was spoken about negatively.
At Huey’s Coffee, we do not tolerate bullying, harassment, gossip, or any behavior that seeks to belittle or harm others. We are committed to fostering a culture where every employee, customer, and community member feels respected, valued, and supported.
We appreciate those who brought this matter to our attention and the opportunity to address it. Moving forward, additional measures are being implemented to ensure our team continues to uphold the standards and values that our employees, customers, and communities deserve.
