Marion's Annual Livermush Festival kicks off tomorrow, and we're definitely not sitting this one out.

Whether you're a lifelong livermush fanatic or finally ready to see what all the fuss is about, we've got a couple of festival specials with your name on them.

🔥 Festival Slider Duo – $5.99 Get one of each: 🥪 The Classic – crispy livermush with tangy mustard and sweet grape jelly.
🧀 The Cheesy – crispy livermush topped with melted cheese and creamy mayo.

🍕 The Festival Pie – $16 Crispy livermush, house-made Alfredo, mozzarella, maple sausage, and caramelized onions. Rich, savory, a little sweet, and unlike anything else you'll try all weekend.

We'll also have our 🍒 Cheerwine Slushies and 🍇 Grape Slushies available—with the option to make them boozy if you're feeling festive.

⚠️ These specials are available for one day only during the festival, and once we're out, we're out.

Like most local small businesses and especially restaurants. Times have been tough…. But we get it. Everything is expensive. Even we have limited our dining out experiences with our family.

We started looking for ideas to attract business. Everyone was screaming AI! We got pushed. We got convinced. We tried it. Kinda hated it. Won’t do it anymore.

AI is killing social media. 90% of ads you see aren’t real, or at least they’ve been “polished”. We used a marketing platform that created “generated” material. While some of it was our actual food, and a lot of it was close…… a good bit was some computer dreamed up idea of what our food looks like. And some of the post were generated without us knowing.

I personally prefer the look of the real thing. I wanna see the grease spot on the plate next to a thiccc burger. I don’t want every fry on my plate to be identical.

The good news is that we have hired an actual human to do our events and social media marketing. And while the ads might not be instant perfectly polished post. They’re real! Real food, real pictures, real words.

Sorry we did the dumb thing.
