Happy New Year!🎉 We have an exciting announcement🥁…after having the pleasure of working for Mi Pueblito for 18 years, we have had the opportunity to buy Mi Pueblito Marion!

We will be opening as Mi Morelia in two weeks. You will still see the same smiling faces in our staff. We will be bringing in some new authentic dishes, but rest assured the flavors you know and love are here to stay (ACP isn't going anywhere!😉) We would like to thank everyone who has eaten at Mi Pueblito Marion over the years, and can’t wait to see you all again!

Pablo Bautista, Rodrigo's uncle, passed suddenly two years ago due to COVID. He is remembered fondly by the Mi Pueblito family and his son, Omar.

Pablo came to the United States in 1988, and worked in California until moving to North Carolina in 1991. He began working for us in 1996 when the Shelby location was opened, starting in the kitchen and working his way up to co-manager. ❤️ Love & rememberance to you, Pablo 🏵

Armando managed the Shelby location from opening until his passing 5 years later in 2006 from leukemia. He loved soccer, and his now almost grown sons, Tristan, Jose and Aaron. The fountain in the Rutherfordton foyer was placed in his honor. ❤️ Love & rememberance to you, Armando 🏵

We lost Rodrigo's cousin, Alvaro Torres, too early to COVID in 2020. He worked over 6 years at our Shelby location ~ do you remember the dining room in the first picture?! Alvaro was a very kind and caring person, never angry, always smiling. Alvaro was a father of three and had a love for horses. ❤️ Love & rememberance to you, Alvaro 🏵
