Neighbor complaint alert …

Dear all,

On the left side of the cafe, where trash cans and HVAC outdoor unit sit, is a private residence. Folks go to bed early and wake up early, and they have done their best to support the building and opening of this cafe. I have announced, here and there, that neighbors must not be disturbed, and all loud noise must be contained in the building. It is not the first time, however, that I have received complaints from the neighbors.

Please note that the cafe is in very close proximity to the private residence on the left. May I suggest that we all be gentle in our talks, and folks who would like to have more freedom chatting, may I further suggest that we take conversations or singings or audio speakers to the other side of the building, near the mortgage company, as far away from the fence as possible?

I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I must emphasize again: Let’s be mindful, and respectful, lest unnecessary consequences could bring the cafe down, such as ticketing, penalties for breaking the lease—even closure. I did make a promise to my landlord, and the city, to contain all sound.

Thank you.

Dear customers,

Just a kind reminder to not throw these in the trash. They are the ones to house the disposal bowls so your hands won’t get burned by the heat from the soup. Thank y’all for continuing to keep the cafe clean.

Now I’ve given each a cute sticker. Come check it out next time you get your bowl. Fun!
